Time for some reorganisation. July 3, 2010

It seems to be a case of natural evolution, I suppose. This blog was originally conceived as a place where I could post about my interests in Tarot and other things, which was provisionally going to be more in favour of the ‘Tarot’ stuff, rather than the ‘other things’. Life being what it is, not to mention the foibles of human nature, the other things tended to dominate- particularly my interest in Doctor Who, and my interest in other things got pushed to the background. Those of you who come here from my links in Gallifrey Base and Doctor Who Online have found my musings on Tarot to be bewildering at best, and those of you who have come here from my links on the Aeclectic Tarot forum and other sites have no doubt been interested in the Dr. Who stuff, (We all watch TV, right?) but felt that the Tarot content was distinctly lacking.
As such, to be brutally honest, I’m only really inspired to write about Tarot when something especially unusual happens or when I purchase a new deck; and so far this year, things have been (touch wood!) fairly consistent, and no new purchases have been made, so Tarot content has been exceedingly thin on the ground. (It’s probably testimony to the reliability of the Llewellyn deck I’m using at the moment, as it’s been fairly steady in its’ readings and hasn’t thrown me any curveballs worthy of note, like the ’literal’ readings I’ve sometimes had with other decks and spoken about on here earlier on.)
There’s also the confession to make that because I wanted originally to concentrate on the Tarot side of my interests, I neglected to make posts on the other subjects that interest me, which made this blog somewhat one-dimensional in nature, and further complicated by the increasing dominance of my interest in Doctor Who taking over when my posts in Tarot had been lacking. I guess you could say that my blog page was one-dimensional, yet schizophrenic!
Since the current series of Doctor Who has finished until the Christmas episode, that would mean this blog page would practically dry up, so I decided that ‘things will have to be done’. Essentially, the Doctor Who stuff really deserved its’ own page, having taken on a life of its’ own, and to make things tidier, I decided to move all those posts to the new site, to allow my other interests room to breathe, and also permit me to write about whatever interests me as I see fit.
Greywoolfe’s Den will now be my online repository for all my other interests, and the Doctor Who content has now been moved to my other, newer blog, The Console Room. That way, I get to continue writing about stuff that interests me, and the respective blogs get to appear more consistent. Those of you who don’t share my love for Gallifrey’s finest can now read about my other favourite subjects here, and the series 5 reviews for Doctor Who will now be typed over on The Console Room.
There’s another new blog, too, called Book Of Daze. This is now the place where any of my posts concerning music, movies or anything else not related to Doctor Who or Tarot will be found, as well as a place where I can let off steam with a few grumpy rants about the absurdities of life. Enjoy!
